So some new law was just passed making it illegal for you to buy tobacco online with a credit card. This is so that people can't circumvent paying tax when they buy their smokes. Which I find ridiculous and is very telling of how politicans have to bend to the whim of businessmen, i.e. money. But that's neither here nor there, check out this quote I found on the subject:
"ATF investigations show that millions of dollars each year in illegal sales of cigarettes are diverted to fund terrorists and criminal organizations," said Michael Bouchard, ATF assistant director for field operations. "Through today's initiative, we are addressing the problem of illegal sales across multiple jurisdictions with tremendous support from the country's largest credit card companies. We welcome the help."
OH COME ON NOW! Why you gotta go and say something like that?
Next thing you know we'll be hearing about how terrorists used steroids to hijack the 9-11 planes and so that's why we must zero in on them.
